The Trade Workshop Series

The RCIE@UIBE is working with the Department of Economics, Hong Kong Baptist University to organize a working series. It is scheduled to be held in Beijing in the Fall, being hosted by the Center, and to be held in Hong Kong in the Spring, being hosted by the Department of Economics, Hong Kong Baptist University.

The theme of the workshop series is international trade, but papers that have direct and indirect implications for foreign trade are also welcome, including (but not limited to) papers in the following areas:

  • economic development and economic growth

  • the Chinese economy and its foreign relations

  • domestic and international labor migration

  • domestic and international capital movement

Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome.
